Colour: Green
Theme:  A Pot of water.

     ====  7:00 - 7:03 ====
Entrance Song:
Make me a channel of your peace.
Where there is hatred let me bring your
love.
Where there is injury, your pardon, Lord
And where there's doubt, true faith in
you.

Chorus:
Oh, Master grant that I may never seek
So much to be consoled as to console
To be understood as to understand
To be loved as to love with all my soul.

Chorus:

Welcome;
Say: In today’s gospel we hear how Jesus did something very special at a wedding in Cana, changing water into wine.! Let’s think about the changes we
can make in our lives and in our world.
Say:  Jesus is God… so Jesus has the power to change anything into something good especially for His good people…

//V// In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
//R// Amen.
//V// May The Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ,
And the love of God,
And the fellowship of the Holy Spirit,
be with you all.
//R//  And with Your Spirit.

Penitential Rite
Dear little children, let us acknowledge our sins,
and so prepare ourselves to celebrate the sacred mysteries.
Confession of our sins
I confess to the Almighty God,
and to you, my brothers and sisters,
that I have greatly sinned
in my thoughts and in my words
in what I have done and In what I have failed to do
            -strike the breast 3 times as you say-
through my fault
through my fault
through my most grievous fault
THEREFORE I ask Blessed Mary Ever Virgin
all the Angels and Saints
and you, my brothers and sisters
to pray for me to the Lord our God

Have Mercy on us oh Lord
For we have sinned against you.

Show us, Oh Lord, your mercy
And grant us your salvation.

You were sent to heal the contrite of heart.
Lord have Mercy
Lord have Mercy

You came to sinners
Christ have mercy
Christ have mercy

You are seated at the right hand of the father to intercede for us.
Lord have mercy.
Lord have mercy.

May the almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us our sins and bring us to life everlasting? AMEN

Liturgy of the Word
First Reading, Introduce the reading.
Today’s first reading is from the Old Testament, the book of the prophet Isaiah. Isaiah 62:1-5 The prophet Isaiah is telling us again another story
 A prepared child comes and takes the first reading or second reading.

Isaiah 62:1-5 Good News Translation (GNT)

62 I will speak out to encourage Jerusalem; I will not be silent until she is saved,
And her victory shines like a torch in the night.
Jerusalem, the nations will see you victorious! All their kings will see your glory. You will be called by a new name, A name given by the Lord Himself.
You will be like a beautiful crown for the Lord.
The word of the Lord,

All say: “Thanks be to God”.

Let us focus on our responsorial Psalm:

< Proclaim his marvelous deeds to all the nations.3x.

Introduce the Gospel
Explain; Today’s Gospel comes from the book of John.  (Jn 2:1-11)  Today’s Gospel is a story.   Let’s open our ears and hearts (and close our mouths) so that we can hear the story about Jesus’ first miracle.
Let us welcome the Gospel:
..with Alleluia!! - OR
Welcome the Gospel through a song.
Halle, halle, halle-lu-jah!
 Halle, halle, halle-lu-jah!
Halle, halle, halle-lu-jah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
!!
Silently say: ”Cleanse my heart and my lips, almighty God, that I may worthily proclaim your Holy Gospel.
The Lord be with You,
AND with your Spirit.
The Gospel Reading was written by John 2:1-11 Let Lord’s Word be in my mind <make a cross on forehead>, and on my lips <make a cross on lips>, and in my heart <make a cross on the left side of the chest> OR Glory to You Lord Jesus Christ.

The Wedding in Cana

Two days later there was a wedding in the town of Cana in Galilee. Jesus' mother was there, and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited to the wedding. When the wine had given out, Jesus' mother said to him, “They are out of wine.” “You must not tell me what to do,” Jesus replied. “My time has not yet come.”
Jesus' mother then told the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.”
The Jews have rules about ritual washing, and for this purpose six stone water jars were there, each one large enough to hold between twenty and thirty gallons. Jesus said to the servants, “Fill these jars with water.” They filled them to the brim, and then he told them, “Now draw some water out and take it to the man in charge of the feast.” They took him the water, which now had turned into wine, and he tasted it. He did not know where this wine had come from (but, of course, the servants who had drawn out the water knew); so he called the bridegroom 10 and said to him, “Everyone else serves the best wine first, and after the guests have drunk a lot, he serves the ordinary wine. But you have kept the best wine until now!”
11 Jesus performed this first miracle in Cana in Galilee; there he revealed his glory, and his disciples believed in him.
The Gospel of the Lord”
“Glory and praise to you Lord, Jesus Christ”
  ====  7:19 - 7:24 ====
(*)Tell an interesting story according to the Gospel and children’s level of understanding.
Gospel reflection:
 Why did Jesus perform this miracle?  Did He do it to impress anybody?  Did it even seem that He wanted to do it?  He turned the water into wine to help His relative.  He did it because His mother asked Him to.  His mother believed in Him and His friends believed in Him.  Jesus never performed miracles for no reason – He always helped people.  He always had a reason. This miracle shows us how special and important Jesus is. It shows us that He is the Son of God and that nothing is impossible for Him.
While we cannot work miracles, we can make real changes that make a
difference to our own lives or the lives of others.

Let us stand up and we profess our faith.

Profession of our faith
I believe in God the Father, Almighty,
creator of heaven and earth:
And in Jesus Christ, his only begotten Son, our Lord:
                  --bow down--
Who was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary:
Suffered under Pontius Pilate;
was crucified, died and was buried:
He descended into hell:
The third day, He rose again from the dead:
He ascended into heaven,
and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty:
From there He will come to judge the leaving and the dead:
I believe in the Holy Spirit:
the holy catholic church:
the communion of saints:
The forgiveness of sins:
The resurrection of the body:
And the life everlasting.
Amen.
