A new commandment I give unto you,
That you love one another as I have loved you,
That you love one another as I have loved you.
By this shall all men know that you are My disciples,
if you have love one for another.
By this shall all men know that you are My disciples,
if you have love one for another.….
That you love one another as I have loved you,
That you love one another as I have loved you.
By this shall all men know that you are My disciples,
if you have love one for another.
By this shall all men know that you are My disciples,
if you have love one for another.….

Dear little children, let us acknowledge our sins,
and so prepare ourselves to celebrate the sacred mysteries.
Confession of our sins
I confess to the Almighty God,
and to you, my brothers and sisters,
that I have greatly sinned
in my thoughts and in my words
in what I have done and In what I have failed to do
-strike the
breast 3 times as you say-
through my fault
through my fault
through my most grievous fault
THEREFORE I ask Blessed Mary Ever Virgin
all the Angels and Saints
and you, my brothers and sisters
to pray for me to the Lord our God
Have
Mercy on us oh Lord
For we have sinned against you
Show
us, Oh Lord, your mercy
And grant us your salvation
You were sent to heal the contrite of heart
Lord have Mercy
Lord have Mercy
You came to sinners
Christ have mercy
Christ have mercy
You are seated at the right hand of the father to
intercede for us.
Lord have mercy
Lord have mercy
May the almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us our
sins and bring us to life everlasting
AMEN

Liturgy of the Word
First Reading
This
reading tells about what happened to Jesus! Jesus promised something to the
Apostles. Listen carefully
and see if you can hear what that promise was.
Now give to
the child to start reading the first reading below.
Today’s
first reading is from the first New Testament book of Acts 2:1-11 (ICB)
The Coming of the Holy
Spirit..
2 When the day of
Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. 2 Suddenly a noise came
from heaven. It sounded like a strong wind blowing. This noise filled the whole
house where they were sitting. 3 They saw something that looked like flames of
fire. The flames were separated and stood over each person there. 4 They were
all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they began to speak different languages.
The Holy Spirit was giving them the power to speak these languages.
5 There were some
religious Jews staying in Jerusalem who were from every country in the world. 6
When they heard this noise, a crowd came together. They were all surprised,
because each one heard them speaking in his own language. 7 They were
completely amazed at this. They said, “Look! Aren’t all these men that we hear
speaking from Galilee?[a] 8 But each of us hears them in his own language. How
is this possible? We are from different places: 9 Parthia, Media, Elam,
Mesopotamia, Judea, Cappadocia, Pontus, Asia, 10 Phrygia, Pamphylia, Egypt, the
areas of Libya near Cyrene, Rome 11 (both Jews and those who had become Jews),
Crete and Arabia. But we hear these men telling in our own languages about the
great things God has done!”
The word of the Lord, …
Responsorial Psalm
Lord, send out your
Spirit, and renew the face of the earth.
Introducing
the Gospel
The
disciples knew that Jesus was the Son of God. And that even though he was now
with God, rather than on earth, Jesus would always be with them. Listen to the
whole story
..with
Alleluia!! -
Welcoming the Gospel
Good News today, Yes good news, good news today, good
news today, the news of Salavation. Alle-luiaAlle, Alle-luia, Alle- luia,
A—lleluia x2
Silently say:” Cleanse my heart
and my lips, almighty God, that I may worthily proclaim your Holy Gospel to
your little children.
The Lord be with You,
AND with your Spirit
The Gospel reading is from the book of...” John 14:15-16 (ICB)
The
Promise of the Holy Spirit
15 “If you love
me, you will do the things I command. 16 I will ask the
Father, and he will give you another Helper.[a] He will give you this Helper to be with you forever.
23 Jesus
answered, “If anyone
loves me, then he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will
come to him and make our home with him. 24 He who does
not love me does not obey my teaching. This teaching that you hear is not
really mine. It is from my Father, who sent me.
25 “I have told
you all these things while I am with you. 26 But the Helper
will teach you everything. He will cause you to remember all the things I told
you. This Helper is the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send in my name.
“The Gospel of the Lord”,
“Praise to you Lord Jesus
Christ”
(*)Tell an interesting story
according to the Gospel
and children’s level of understanding like in the Gospel reflection:
==== 7:24 - 7:27 ====
Gospel Reflection.
Say: This passage is part of the last conversations Jesus has with his
disciples before he dies and so he is preparing them to live without his
leadership.
Jesus says: "If you love me you will
keep my commandments. I shall ask the Father, and he will give you another
Paraclete to be with you forever." The Paraclete is
another name for the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will teach the disciples everything
they need to know once Jesus has left, and will remind them of Jesus' words
while he was with them.
Today is the day of the Holy Spirit. It is called the Feast of Pentecost. Pentecost means 50
in Greek as the Holy Spirit came to the disciples 50 days after Easter.
Just as the Holy Spirit is a
teacher and guide, can you think of people you rely on to teach and guide you?
Who are they?
Give thanks for them now.
Jesus wants us to understand that if we love God, if it is to be real
and honest, then we must be generous, faithful and obedient to God. May God Bless you...
Profession of our faith
I
believe in God the Father, Almighty,
Creator
of heaven and earth:
And
in Jesus Christ, his only begotten Son, our Lord: --bow down--
Who
was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit,
born
of the Virgin Mary:
Suffered
under Pontius Pilate;
was
crucified, died and was buried:
He
descended into hell:
And
the third day He rose again from the dead: He ascended into heaven,
and
seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty:
From
there He shall come again to judge the living and the dead:
I
believe in the Holy Spirit:
the
holy catholic church:
the
communion of saints:
The
forgiveness of sins:
The
resurrection of the body:
And
the life everlasting.
Amen.
