Entrance Song:
I will enter His gates.

I will enter His gates with thanksgiving in my heart;
I will enter His courts with praise.
I will say this is the day that the Lord has made.
I will rejoice for He has made me glad.
He has made me glad, He has made me glad,
I will rejoice for He has made me glad.
He has made me glad, He has made me glad,
I will rejoice for He has made me glad.

Welcome; Jesus today uses the image of a grain of wheat to talk about what is in store for Him – death and resurrection. He says that one single grain of wheat can produce a rich harvest. Let’s think some more about this today.

//V// In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit,
//R// Amen.
//V// May The Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ,
And the love of God,
And the fellowship of the Holy Spirit,
be with you all.
//R//  And with Your Spirit.

Penitential Rite
Dear little children, let us acknowledge our sins, and so prepare ourselves to celebrate the sacred mysteries.

Confession of our sins
I confess to the Almighty God,
and to you, my brothers and sisters,
that I have greatly sinned
in my thoughts and in my words
in what I have done and In what I have failed to do
            -strike the breast 3 times as you say-
through my fault
through my fault
through my most grievous fault
THEREFORE I ask Blessed Mary Ever Virgin
all the Angels and Saints
and you, my brothers and sisters
to pray for me to the Lord our God

Have Mercy on us oh Lord
For we have sinned against you.

Show us, Oh Lord, your mercy
And grant us your salvation.

You were sent to heal the contrite of heart.
Lord have Mercy
Lord have Mercy

You came to sinners
Christ have mercy
Christ have mercy

You are seated at the right hand of the father to intercede for us.
Lord have mercy.
Lord have mercy.
May the almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us our sins and bring us to life everlasting?
AMEN
====  7:11 - 7:14 ====

*NO GLORIA*
In lent period, we shall not sing the Gloria
because it’s a time for us to reflect on the
quality of our life style.
Opening Prayer
God of life, we pray that all the seeds that we plant Physical or Spiritual may bear much fruit, so that none of your people go hungry, Amen.

Liturgy of the Word
First Reading, Introduce the reading.
Say:  Today’s reading comes from the Old Testament book of the prophet Jeremiah. (Jer 31:31-34) It tells us something the Lord told Jeremiah about making a new promise with the people of Israel.  God tells Jeremiah that one day all people will be so full of love that it will be easy to keep God’s laws. In today’s reading, they use a different word for “promise” Listen closely to see if you can hear what that word is.

A prepared child/children come and take the first reading or second reading.
First Reading
Jeremiah 31:31-34 (CSB)
A New Covenant

31 “Look, the days are coming”—this is the Lord’s declaration—“when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah. 32 This one will not be like the covenant I made with their ancestors on the day I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt—my covenant that they broke even though I am their master”[a]—the Lord’s declaration. 33 “Instead, this is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after those days”—the Lord’s declaration. “I will put my teaching within them and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. 34 No longer will one teach his neighbor or his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they will all know me, from the least to the greatest of them”—this is the Lord’s declaration. “For I will forgive their iniquity and never again remember their sin.

 This is the word of the Lord”

All say “Thanks be to God”.

Aky: Did you hear the word that means ‘promise’?  <covenant> Do you think that we have reached the time when all people are full of love?  Do you think everyone find it easy to love one another?
Let us focus on our responsorial Psalm:
Create a clean heart in me, O God!.....>3x.

Introduce the Gospel
Today’s Gospel reading comes from the book of John.  (John 12:24-26).  In the reading today, St. John tells us that we must be like seeds.  We will have to change ourselves so that we can feel the beauty and fullness of God’s promise to us.  Sometimes that change will feel a little sad.  The reading compares that sadness to dying.  Let’s pretend that we are in a field with beautiful flowers all around us and listen closely to the message being read to us today.

Now we will stand to get ready to hear the Gospel
In lent period, we shall not sing the hallelujah,
because it’s a time for us to reflect on the
quality of our life style. But another song without an hallelujah can be sang.
Jesus loves me, Jesus loves me, Jesus loves me, Jesus loves me x2

Silently the leader says:” Cleanse my heart and my lips, almighty God, that I may worthily proclaim your Holy Gospel.
The Leader starts: The Lord be with You,
And with your Spirit.
A reading is from the Holy Gospel according to St. Matthew.
Glory to You, O Lord

John 12:24-26 (CSB)

24 Truly I tell you, unless a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains by itself. But if it dies, it produces much fruit. 25 The one who loves his life will lose it, and the one who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. 26 If anyone serves me, he must follow me. Where I am, there my servant also will be. If anyone serves me, the Father will honor him.
The Gospel of the Lord”
“Praise to you Lord Jesus Christ”
====  7:19 - 7:24 ====
(*) Tell your prepared interesting story according to the Gospel and children’s level of understanding like in the…
Gospel reflection:

Ask: Have you ever had anything change in your life?  Was it easy?  Is change sometimes hard?  What kind of changes did Jesus go through for us? <He fasted for 40days, got friends(Disciples) but by those same friends, He died so He could rise again> What kind of changes might we have to go through for him? <trying to be good, telling the truth, giving up something, being nice to someone you don’t like>

Memory Verse: “John 12:26 (Jesus said  ….“If anyone serves me, the Father will honor him....!”)

Let us stand up and we profess our faith.

Profession of our faith
I believe in God the Father, Almighty,
creator of heaven and earth:
And in Jesus Christ, his only begotten Son, our Lord:
         --bow down--
Who was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary:
Suffered under Pontius Pilate;
was crucified, died and was buried:
He descended into hell:
The third day he rose again from the dead:
He ascended into heaven,
and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty:
From there He will come to judge the living and the dead:
I believe in the Holy Spirit:
the holy catholic church:
the communion of saints:
The forgiveness of sins:
The resurrection of the body:
And the life everlasting. Amen.
====  7:24 - 7:26 ====
