Entrance Song
Love is His word https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vOqp0KkT9KA

1. Love is his word, love is his way,
feasting with all, fasting alone,
living and dying, rising again,
love, only love, is his way:
Chorus:
Richer than gold is the love of my Lord,
better than splendour and wealth.
2. Love is his way, love is his mark,
sharing his last Passover feast,
Christ at his table, host to the twelve,
love, only love, is his mark:

Welcome; Today we hear about just how much God loves the world and all the people in it. Let’s think some more about that love.

//V// In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit,
//R// Amen.
//V// May The Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ,
And the love of God,
And the fellowship of the Holy Spirit,
be with you all.
//R//  And with Your Spirit.

Penitential Rite
Dear little children, let us acknowledge our sins, and so prepare ourselves to celebrate the sacred mysteries.

Confession of our sins
I confess to the Almighty God,
and to you, my brothers and sisters,
that I have greatly sinned
in my thoughts and in my words
in what I have done and In what I have failed to do
            -strike the breast 3 times as you say-
through my fault
through my fault
through my most grievous fault
THEREFORE I ask Blessed Mary Ever Virgin
all the Angels and Saints
and you, my brothers and sisters
to pray for me to the Lord our God

Have Mercy on us oh Lord
For we have sinned against you.

Show us, Oh Lord, your mercy
And grant us your salvation.

You were sent to heal the contrite of heart.
Lord have Mercy
Lord have Mercy

You came to sinners
Christ have mercy
Christ have mercy

You are seated at the right hand of the father to intercede for us.
Lord have mercy.
Lord have mercy.
May the almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us our sins and bring us to life everlasting?
AMEN
====  7:11 - 7:14 ====

*NO GLORIA*
In lent period, we shall not sing the Gloria
because it’s a time for us to reflect on the
quality of our life style.
Opening Prayer
Generous God, we give you thanks because you loved the world so much, you sent your only Son to show us how to live and to grow in love. May we share your love with others, Amen.

Liturgy of the Word
First Reading, Introduce the reading.
Say:   Today’s first reading is from the Old Testament book of 2 Chronicles 36:14-16. We hear how God was too angry with all the people of Judah because they worshiped idols. God punished them and they had no escape.

A prepared child/children come and take the first reading or second reading.
First Reading
2 Chronicles 36:14-16
The Fall of Jerusalem
14 In addition, the leaders of Judah, the priests, and the people followed the sinful example of the nations around them in worshiping idols, and so they defiled the Temple, which the Lord himself had made holy. 15 The Lord, the God of their ancestors, had continued to send prophets to warn his people, because he wanted to spare them and the Temple. 16 But they made fun of God's messengers, ignoring his words and laughing at his prophets, until at last the Lord's anger against his people was so great that there was no escape.
“This is the word of the Lord”
All say “Thanks be to God”.

Aky: How did the people of Judah annoy God? <discuss>They even ignored God’s messengers and prophets! And this, made God so angry.

Let us focus on our responsorial Psalm:
< O Let my tongue cleave to my palate if I remember you not!.....>3x.

Introduce the Gospel
Today’s Gospel reading is taken from the book of John (John 3:16-17).  Has anyone here ever used darkness for hiding?  Did you ever hide after you did something wrong?  In the Gospel reading today, we hear about a man named Nicodemus. He really wanted to hear what Jesus had to say but he was afraid that his friends would find out.  He met with Jesus at night.  He used darkness to hide because he was afraid.  Jesus’ message to him <and to us!> was about how much God loves all of us.

Now we will stand to get ready to hear the Gospel
In lent period, we shall not sing the hallelujah,
because it’s a time for us to reflect on the
quality of our life style. But another song without an hallelujah can be sang.
Jesus loves me, Jesus loves me, Jesus loves me, Jesus loves me x2

Silently the leader says:” Cleanse my heart and my lips, almighty God, that I may worthily proclaim your Holy Gospel.
The Leader starts: The Lord be with You,
And with your Spirit.
A reading is from the Holy Gospel according to St. Matthew.
Glory to You, O Lord

John 3:14-17
At that time, Jesus said to Nicodemus,
14 As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 that whoever believes in Him should not perish but[a] have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
”The Gospel of the Lord”
“Praise to you Lord Jesus Christ”
====  7:19 - 7:24 ====
(*) Tell your prepared interesting story according to the Gospel and children’s level of understanding like in the…
Gospel reflection:

Ask: Did anyone hear why God sent Jesus to earth?  <not to condemn – but to save!> God so loved the world that He sent us His only Son Jesus Christ so that we can be saved.

Memory Verse: “John 3:16 (...”16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life...!”)

Let us stand up and we profess our faith.

Profession of our faith
I believe in God the Father, Almighty,
creator of heaven and earth:
And in Jesus Christ, his only begotten Son, our Lord:
         --bow down--
Who was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary:
Suffered under Pontius Pilate;
was crucified, died and was buried:
He descended into hell:
The third day he rose again from the dead:
He ascended into heaven,
and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty:
From there He will come to judge the living and the dead:
I believe in the Holy Spirit:
the holy catholic church:
the communion of saints:
The forgiveness of sins:
The resurrection of the body:
And the life everlasting. Amen.
====  7:24 - 7:26 ====
