Chorus: Do not be afraid, For I have redeemed you.
I have called you by your name; You are mine.

When you walk through the waters I'll be with you,
You will never have to sink beneath the waves.
Chorus
When the fire is burning all around you,
You will never be consumed by the flames.
Chorus
When the fear of loneliness is looming,
Then remember I am at your side.
Chorus
When you dwell in the exile of a stranger,
Remember you are precious in my eyes.

//V/ In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit,
 //R// Amen.
//V// May The Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ,
And the love of God,

Penitential Rite
Dear little children, let us acknowledge our sins,
and so prepare ourselves to celebrate the sacred mysteries.
Confession of our sins
I confess to the Almighty God,
and to you, my brothers and sisters,
that I have greatly sinned
in my thoughts and in my words
in what I have done and In what I have failed to do
-strike the breast 3 times as you say-
through my fault
through my fault
through my most grievous fault
THEREFORE I ask Blessed Mary Ever Virgin
all the Angels and Saints
and you, my brothers and sisters
to pray for me to the Lord our God…

Have Mercy on us oh Lord
For we have sinned against you.

Show us, Oh Lord, your mercy
And grant us your salvation.

You were sent to heal the contrite of heart.
Lord have Mercy
Lord have Mercy

You came to sinners
Christ have mercy
Christ have mercy

You are seated at the right hand of the father to intercede for us.
Lord have mercy.
Lord have mercy.

May the almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us our sins and bring us to life everlasting?

Liturgy of the Word
Introduce the first reading.
Say: Today’s first reading is from the first New Testament book of  Acts of the Apostles and it tells us all about the days after Easter and how the Apostles lived.
A prepared child/children come and take the reading.
First Reading is from the book of
Acts 4:32-35(GNT)
The Believers Share Their Possessions
32 The group of believers was one in mind and heart. None of them said that any of their belongings were their own, but they all shared with one another everything they had. 33 With great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and God poured rich blessings on them all. 34 There was no one in the group who was in need. Those who owned fields or houses would sell them, bring the money received from the sale, 35 and turn it over to the apostles; and the money was distributed according to the needs of the people.
“This is the word of the Lord”
All say “Thanks be to God”.

Ask:  How did they live?  <they shared everything they owned>  Do you think that you could do that?….
Let us focus on our responsorial Psalm:
< Give praise to the Lord, for He is good; His mercy endures forever...>3x
Introduce the Gospel
Say:  Today’s Gospel reading comes from the book of the Apostle John. We hear about the night after the Apostles discovered that Jesus’ body was missing from the tomb.  Jesus’ friends were gathered together in a locked room.  They were sad, confused and frightened.  The story is about one of the Apostles who didn’t believe that Jesus had actually risen from the dead.....

...with Alleluia!! –
WE SING WHILE STANDING AND WELCOME THE GOSPEL!!
Alle-lu Alle-lu, Alle-lu Alle-lluia!!
Lets praise the Lord….
Alle-lu Alle-lu Alle-lu Alle-lluia!!,
Lets praise the Lord….
Alle-luia, Lets Praise the Lord!
Alle-luia, Lets Praise the Lord!
Alle..lluia Lets praise the Lord….!!!

The leader reading the gospel, silently says: “Cleanse my heart and my lips, almighty God, that I may worthily proclaim your Holy Gospel”.

The Leader starts: The Lord be with You,
And with your Spirit.

A reading is from the Holy Gospel according to St. John.
Glory to You, O Lord

John 20:19-29 (GNT)
Jesus Appears to His Disciples
19 It was late that Sunday evening, and the disciples were gathered together behind locked doors, because they were afraid of the Jewish authorities. Then Jesus came and stood among them. “Peace be with you,” he said. 20 After saying this, he showed them his hands and his side. The disciples were filled with joy at seeing the Lord. 21 Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father sent me, so I send you.” 22 Then he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit. 23 If you forgive people's sins, they are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven.”
Jesus and Thomas
24 One of the twelve disciples, Thomas (called the Twin), was not with them when Jesus came. 25 So the other disciples told him, “We have seen the Lord! ”Thomas said to them, “Unless I see the scars of the nails in his hands and put my finger on those scars and my hand in his side, I will not believe.” 26
A week later the disciples were together again indoors, and Thomas was with them. The doors were locked, but Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you.” 27 Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here, and look at my hands; then reach out your hand and put it in my side. Stop your doubting, and believe!”
28 Thomas answered him, “My Lord and my God!
29 Jesus said to him, “Do you believe because you see me? How happy are those who believe without seeing me!
”The Gospel of the Lord”
“Praise to you Lord Jesus Christ”

====  7:19 - 7:24 ====

(*) Tell your prepared reflecting story to motivate the children, but according to the Gospel and children’s level of understanding like in the suggestions below…
Gospel reflection:
Ask:  What is the name of the Apostle who didn’t believe about Jesus without seeing for himself?  <Thomas> Jesus told him that the people who were really blessed were the ones who believed without seeing.  Do you know who are the people Jesus was talking about?  <the other Apostles AND US!>  Jesus was talking about US!  We can’t see for ourselves.  We have to believe.
Memory Verse:  John 20:29 “…,Jesus said to him, “Do you believe because you see me? How happy are those who believe without seeing me!
Let us stand up and we profess our faith.

Profession of our faith
I believe in God the Father, Almighty,
creator of heaven and earth:
And in Jesus Christ, his only begotten Son, our Lord:
         --bow down--
Who was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary:
Suffered under Pontius Pilate;
was crucified, died and was buried:
He descended into hell:
The third day he rose again from the dead:
He ascended into heaven,
and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty:
From there He will come to judge the living and the dead:
I believe in the Holy Spirit:
the holy catholic church:
the communion of saints:
The forgiveness of sins:
The resurrection of the body:
And the life everlasting.
Amen.
