 Penitential Rite
Dear little children, let us acknowledge our sins,
and so prepare ourselves to celebrate the sacred mysteries.

Confession of our sins
I confess to the Almighty God,
and to you, my brothers and sisters,
that I have greatly sinned
in my thoughts and in my words
in what I have done and In what I have failed to do
-strike the breast 3 times as you say-
through my fault
through my fault
through my most grievous fault
THEREFORE I ask Blessed Mary Ever Virgin
all the Angels and Saints
and you, my brothers and sisters
to pray for me to the Lord our God

Have Mercy on us oh Lord
For we have sinned against you

Show us, Oh Lord, your mercy
And grant us your salvation
You were sent to heal the contrite of heart
Lord have Mercy
Lord have Mercy
You came to sinners
Christ have mercy
Christ have mercy
You are seated at the right hand of the father to intercede for us.
Lord have mercy
Lord have mercy
May the almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us our sins and bring us to life everlasting. Amen.

Gospel Reading: A reading from ...

Gospel: John 3:16-18 Good News Translation (GNT)
As you put a cross, say “May the Gospel be on my mind, on my lips and in my heart

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.
The Gospel of the Lord,
Thanks to you Lord Jesus Christ.
Gospel reflection: What do you remember from today’s reading?
Today we hear that God loved the world so much that he sent his only Son, Jesus, into the world to show us how to live and so that we might have eternal life.

God loves the world and all the people, plants, animals and everything else in it very, very much. And God wants us to love the world too.

We are called to show our love for the world and for all the people who live in it, for all the birds, flowers, trees and animals, for everything that God has created.

Profession of our faith
I believe in God the Father, Almighty,
Creater of heaven and earth:
And in Jesus Christ, his only begotten Son, our Lord:
--bow down--
Who was conceived by the Power Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary:
Suffered under Pontius Pilate;
was crucified, died and buried:
He descended into hell:
On the third day he rose again from the dead:
He ascended into heaven,
He is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty:
From thence He shall come again to judge the leaving and the dead:
I believe in the Holy Spirit:
the holy catholic church:
the communion of saints:
The forgiveness of sins:
The resurrection of the body:
And the life everlasting. Amen
