Entrance Song:
Chorus
I will be with you.....
Trust and obey, there is no other way, to be happy in Jesus, but to trust and Obey.
Welcome: Today we hear how Jesus sent out his disciples to spread his word. And Jesus tells us that he will always be with us. Let’s think a bit more about this now.
Ask: Does anyone remember what we talked about last Sunday? <let the children discuss> Last Sunday we celebrated the Feast of Pentecost. We celebrated the birthday of the church, the day the Holy Spirit came to the apostles. It was on Pentecost that the Holy Spirit kept the promise that Jesus made to his friends – that he would not leave them alone. The Holy Spirit came to help them and to help us too.
Say: Today is the Feast of the Holy Trinity.
Ask: Can anyone tell me what the Trinity is? <the Trinity is the idea of three persons in one God> Does this mean that we have three Gods? <no>
Say: Our symbol is three interconnected circles. One symbol with three distinct parts.
Explain: St. Patrick used a shamrock (or clover) to show people what the Trinity meant. There are three leaves on a shamrock.
Each leaf is representing a person. The three persons IN ONE
Focus:
< Happy are the people the Lord has
chosen to be his own.>
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the
HolySpirit. Amen.
May The Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, And the love of God,
And the fellowship of the Holy Spirit,
be wi
th you all.
And with Your Spirit.

Liturgy of the Word
First Reading
Say: Today’s first reading is from the
old Testament book of Deuteronomy
4:32-34, 39-40
32 “Search the past, the time before you were born, all the way back to the time when God created human beings on the earth. Search the entire earth. Has anything as great as this ever happened before? Has anyone ever heard of anything like this? 33 Have any people ever lived after hearing a god speak to them from a fire, as you have? 34 Has any god ever dared to go and take a people from another nation and make them his own, as the Lord your God did for you in Egypt? Before your very eyes he used his great power and strength; he brought plagues and war, worked miracles and wonders, and caused terrifying things to happen. 39 So remember today and never forget: the Lord is God in heaven and on earth. There is no other god. 40 Obey all his laws that I have given you today, and all will go well with you and your descendants. You will continue to live in the land that the Lord your God is giving you to be yours forever.”
. This is the word of the Lord.”
Thanks be to God”.
..with Alleluia!! Let us welcome the Gospel-

Welcoming the Gospel
Alle-llu, Alle-llu, Alle-llu, Alle-lluia, Lets praise the Lord...
Alle-llu, Alle-llu, Alle-llu, Alle-lluia, Lets praise the Lord...

Alle..lluia, Lets praise the Lord... Alle..lluia, Lets praise the Lord... Alle..lluia, Lets praise the Lord... Alle..lluia, Lets praise the Lord...
Silently say: ”Cleanse my heart and my lips, almighty God, that I may worthily proclaim your Holy Gospel to your little children.
The Lord be with You,
AND with your Spirit
The Gospel reading is from the book of...” Matthew 28:16-20
And at the end, say “The Gospel of the Lord” and all repeat “Glory and praise to you Lord, Jesus Christ
Matthew 28:16-20
Jesus Appears to His Disciples
16 The eleven disciples went to the hill in Galilee where Jesus had told them to go. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped him, even though some of them doubted. 18 Jesus drew near and said to them, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. 19 Go, then, to all peoples everywhere and make them my disciples: baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, 20 and teach them to obey everything I have commanded you. And I will be with you always, to the end of the age.” this is the Gospel of the Lord”, “Praise to you Lord Jesus Christ”
(*)Tell an interesting story according to the Gospel and children’s level of understanding like in
the Gospel reflection: ==== 7:24 - 7:27 ====
Gospel Reflection.
Can anyone tell me a word that means “rose from the dead”? <lead the children to the word, ”resurrection”> Today’s Gospel reading is about a time after Jesus’ resurrection. He appeared to his eleven disciples on a mountain. Does anyone remember why there were eleven disciples? <because Judas was no longer with the “disciples”> When Jesus met his disciples, they still didn’t understand what had happened and what they were supposed to do. Pretend that you are one of the eleven. You know that your friend Jesus was killed. You know that you are supposed to believe that he rose from the dead. But what you don’t know is what you are supposed to do next. Listen closely to what Jesus tells his friends – AND you! – and think of the persons of the Trinity that you will hear about.
Profession of our faith
I believe in God the Father, Almighty,
Creator of heaven and earth:
And in Jesus Christ, his only begotten Son, our Lord:
! --bow down--
Who was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary:
Suffered under Pontius Pilate;
was crucified, died and was buried:
He descended into hell:
And the third day He rose again from the dead:
He ascended into heaven,
and seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty:
From there He shall come again to judge the leaving and the dead:
I believe in the Holy Spirit:
the holy catholic church:

the communion of saints:
The forgiveness of sins:
The resurrection of the body: And the life everlasting.

Amen.

Prayers of the Faithful
Now is the time to pray for our stuff :-)
Intercessions: You may want to ask the children to offer their own prayers or you can use the suggestions below.
Let’s think about the courage and
change that the Holy Spirit can bring as we pray together
Prayer 1.
We pray for world leaders: Especially our Pope, Pope Francis, that they may be inspired by the Holy Spirit and have the courage to act for the good of all people and creation. We pray to the Lord...
Prayer 2. We pray for our neighbours, both local and around the world: that they may see by our actions that we care for and respect them, and that they too may reach out to their neighbours, in an unending circle of love We pray to the Lord....
Prayer 3. We pray for our parish, family and friends: that we may be inspired to show our love for God and our
neighbours throughout the world in all that we do. We pray to the Lord....
Prayer 4. Christ Jesus, you are always with us. May we show love for our neighbour, treating all people as we would wish to be treated. And through what we do, may others see that we believe in you. We pray to the Lord.....
Ask the children close their eyes and give in their petitions silently and conclude after 10seconds in words below
We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ your Son,who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,One God, for ever and ever.Amen
Then...
