Seek first the kingdom of heaven,

 Welcome;
Today is the feast of All Saints, when we remember all the people who have lived their lives really well and who have died and gone to heaven. Let’s also think about how we can follow their example and live our lives as God wants us to.

//V// In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
//R// Amen.
//V// May The Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ,
And the love of God,
And the fellowship of the Holy Spirit,
be with you all.
//R//  And with Your Spirit.

Penitential Rite
Dear little children, let us acknowledge our sins,
and so prepare ourselves to celebrate the sacred mysteries.
Confession of our sins
I confess to the Almighty God,
and to you, my brothers and sisters,
that I have greatly sAinned
in my thoughts and in my words
in what I have done and In what I have failed to do
-strike the breast 3 times as you say-
through my fault
through my fault
through my most grievous fault
THEREFORE I ask Blessed Mary Ever Virgin
all the Angels and Saints
and you, my brothers and sisters
to pray for me to the Lord our God

Have Mercy on us oh Lord
For we have sinned against you.

Show us, Oh Lord, your mercy
And grant us your salvation.

You were sent to heal the contrite of heart.
Lord have Mercy
Lord have Mercy

You came to sinners
Christ have mercy
Christ have mercy

You are seated at the right hand of the father to intercede for us.
Lord have mercy.
Lord have mercy.

May the almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us our sins and bring us to life everlasting?
AMEN

Liturgy of the Word

First Reading, Introduce the reading.
Say: Today’s first reading is from the book of Revelation 7:2-4. In this reading, the Lord tells us through the dream He gave Prophet John of what will happen when the world has come to the end.
A prepared child comes and takes the first reading or second reading.

Revelation 7:2-4 International Children’s Bible (ICB)

Then I saw another angel coming from the east. This angel had the seal of the living God. He called out in a loud voice to the four angels. These were the four angels that God had given power to harm the earth and the sea. He said to the four angels, “Do not harm the land or the sea or the trees before we put the sign on the people who serve our God. We must put the sign on their foreheads.” Then I heard how many people were marked with the sign. There were 144,000. They were from every tribe of the people of Israel.
This is the word of the Lord
All say “Thanks be to God”.
Let us focus on our responsorial Psalm:
< Surely your goodness and love will be with me all my life...>3x.

Introduce the Gospel

Say:  Next we’ll have the Gospel reading from the book of Mark. (Matthew 5:1-12).  Today we hear Jesus telling us exactly the kinds of person he wants us to be, and the kind of person that he has special care and love for.
 Let us welcome the Gospel:
..with Alleluia!! - OR
Welcome the Gospel through a song.
Alle-lu Alle-lu Alle-lu Alle-lluia,
Lets praise the Lord,
Alle-lu Alle-lu Alle-lu Alle-lluia,
Lets praise the Lord,
Alle-luia, Lets Praise the Lord
Alle-luia, Lets Praise the Lord
Alle..lluia Lets praise the Lord!!!

Silently say: ”Cleanse my heart and my lips, almighty God, that I may worthily proclaim your Holy Gospel.
The Lord be with You,
AND with your Spirit.

The Gospel Reading was written by Mark 10:17-27 (full reading Mark 10:17-27) International Children’s Bible (ICB)
Let Lord’s Word be in my mind <make a cross on forehead>, and on my lips <make a cross on lips>, and in my heart <make a cross on the left side of the chest>         OR
Glory to You Lord Jesus Christ.

Matthew 5:1-12 English Standard Version (ESV)

The Sermon on the Mount

Seeing the crowds, he went up on the mountain, and when he sat down, his disciples came to him.

The Beatitudes

And he opened his mouth and taught them, saying:
“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
“Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.
“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.
“Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.
“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons[a] of God.
10 “Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11 “Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. 12 Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
The Gospel of the Lord”
“Glory and praise to you Lord, Jesus Christ”
  ====  7:19 - 7:24 ====
(*)Tell an interesting story according to the Gospel and children’s level of understanding like in the
Gospel reflection:
.    6. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. Being pure of heart is having a clean heart. The heart inside of us pumps blood and keeps us alive and if something is wrong with our heart, we won’t work right. Jesus is talking about the place where we think and make decisions, why we do things, and our thoughts. If we keep our mind, thoughts and decisions good, God says we’ll understand Him more. Prayer: Jesus, help me to be pure of heart in all my dealings with others.
Let us stand up and we profess our faith.
Profession of our faith
I believe in God the Father, Almighty,
creator of heaven and earth:
And in Jesus Christ, his only begotten Son, our Lord:
                  --bow down--
Who was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary:
Suffered under Pontius Pilate;
was crucified, died and was buried:
He descended into hell:
The third day he rose again from the dead:
He ascended into heaven,
and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty:
From there He will come to judge the leaving  and the
dead:
I believe in the Holy Spirit:
the holy catholic church:
the communion of saints:
The forgiveness of sins:
The resurrection of the body:
And the life everlasting.
Amen.
