and Elizabeth rejoiced when they saw each other and how Elizabeth knew straight

Penitential Rite
Dear
little children, let us acknowledge our sins,
and
so prepare ourselves to celebrate the sacred mysteries.
Confession
of our sins
I confess to the Almighty God,
and to you, my brothers and sisters,
that I have greatly sinned
in my thoughts and in my words
in what I have done and In what I have failed to do
-strike
the breast 3 times as you say-
through my fault
through my fault
through my most grievous fault
THEREFORE I ask Blessed Mary Ever Virgin
all the Angels and Saints
and you, my brothers and sisters
to pray for me to the Lord our God
Have Mercy on us oh Lord
For we have sinned against you.
Show us, Oh Lord, your mercy
And grant us your salvation.
You were sent to heal the contrite of heart.
Lord have Mercy
Lord have Mercy
You came to sinners
Christ have mercy
Christ have mercy
You are seated at the right hand of the father to intercede for us.
Lord have mercy.
Lord have mercy.
May the almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us our
sins and bring us to life everlasting? AMEN
==== 7:11 - 7:14 ====
Opening Prayer
Caring God, Elizabeth
was filled with joy when she saw Mary, and knew how special her baby would be.
May all parents and their babies around the world have the chance to live
healthy and happy lives, with hope for the future.. Amen.

Liturgy of the Word
First Reading, Introduce the reading.
Our first reading is
from the book of the prophet Micah.
(Micah 5:1-3) In this reading,
we hear again how the Lord would choose someone to rule (or take care of) His
people.
A prepared
child comes and takes the first reading or second reading.
Micah
5:1-3
5 People of
Jerusalem, gather your forces![a] We are besieged! They are attacking the
leader of Israel!
God Promises a Ruler from Bethlehem
2 The Lord says,
“Bethlehem Ephrathah, you are one of the smallest towns in Judah, but out of
you I will bring a ruler for Israel, whose family line goes back to ancient
times.”
3 So the Lord will abandon his people to their enemies until the
woman who is to give birth has her son. Then those Israelites who are in exile
will be reunited with their own people.
“This
is the word of the Lord”
All say “Thanks be to God”.
Let us focus on our responsorial Psalm:
< Rouse your power,
O Lord, and come to save us. 3x.
Introduce the Gospel
Today’s
gospel, is about two cousins who had very important babies. One of the women was much younger and came to
visit the older one. Listen closely and
see if you can name the two women who were cousins and their children. Let us welcome the Gospel:
..with
Alleluia!! - OR
Welcome the Gospel through a song.
Halle halle halle is a
caribbean song listen to it on youtube its so easy to learn.
Halle, halle, halle-lu-jah!
Halle, halle, halle-lu-jah!
Halle, halle, halle-lu-jah!
Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
Silently
say:
”Cleanse my heart and my lips, almighty God, that I may worthily proclaim your
Holy Gospel.
The Lord be with You,
AND with your Spirit.
The Gospel Reading was
written by Luke 1:39-45
Let
Lord’s Word be in my mind <make a cross on forehead>, and on my lips
<make a cross on lips>, and in my heart <make a cross on the left side of the chest> OR
Glory to You Lord Jesus Christ.
Mary Visits
Elizabeth
39 Soon afterward Mary
got ready and hurried off to a town in the hill country of Judea.40 She
went into Zechariah's house and greeted Elizabeth. 41 When Elizabeth
heard Mary's greeting, the baby moved within her. Elizabeth was filled with the
Holy Spirit 42 and
said in a loud voice, “You are the most blessed of all women, and blessed is
the child you will bear! 43 Why
should this great thing happen to me, that my Lord's mother comes to visit me? 44 For as soon as I
heard your greeting, the baby within me jumped with gladness.45 How
happy you are to believe that the Lord's message to you will come true!”
“The Gospel of the Lord”
“Praise
to you Lord, Jesus Christ”

(*)Tell an interesting
story according to the Gospel and children’s level of understanding.
Gospel reflection:
Ask: Who were these
women? <Mary and Elizabeth> and who were their children? <Jesus and John the Baptist> How important was it that these two people
said “yes” to God’s will?
Do you think anybody
who knew Mary and Elizabeth back then would have ever thought they were
important? What about us…. plain old us…
is it important that we say “yes” to God?
Let us stand up and we profess our faith.
Profession of our faith
I believe in God the Father,
Almighty,
creator of heaven and earth:
And in Jesus Christ, his only
begotten Son, our Lord:
--bow down--
Who was conceived by the power of
the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary:
Suffered under Pontius Pilate;
was crucified, died and was buried:
He descended into hell:
The third day, He rose again from
the dead:
He ascended into heaven,
and sits at the right hand of God
the Father Almighty:
From there He will come to judge the
leaving and the
dead:
I believe in the Holy Spirit:
the holy catholic church:
the communion of saints:
The forgiveness of sins:
The resurrection of the body:
And the life everlasting.
Amen.
