Welcome: Today Jesus tells us a story about how it is important to be ready and prepared for whatever will happen. Let’s think a bit about being prepared today.

Dear little children, let us acknowledge our sins, and so prepare ourselves to celebrate the sacred mysteries.
Confession of our sins
I confess to the Almighty God,
and to you, my brothers and sisters,
that I have greatly sinned
in my thoughts and in my words
in what I have done and In what I have failed to do

Liturgy of the Word
Introduction of the first reading.
Say: Today’s first reading is from the Old Testament book of Wisdom. We know Wisdom is more than being smart, righit? Wisdom is also the ability to use your intelligence to make good decisions. This reading from the book of Wisdom talks about the qualities of wisdom. Listen to the reading and see if you can hear something special about Wisdom..... A prepared child/children come and take the reading.
Wisdom 6:12-16 (GNT)
The Value of Wisdom
12 Wisdom shines bright and never grows dim; those who love her and look for her can easily find her. 13 She is quick to make herself known to anyone who desires her. 14 Get up early in the morning to find her, and you will have no problem; you will find her sitting at your door. 15 To fasten your attention on Wisdom is to gain perfect understanding. If you look for her, you will soon find peace of mind, 16 because she will be looking for those who are worthy of her, and she will find you wherever you are. She is kind and will be with you in your every thought.
This is the word of the Lord;
All say “Thanks be to God”.
Ask: What did you hear? <Wisdom shines brightly, easily seen by those who look for her, hurries to meet anyone who looks and think about her. Your worries will disappear; wisdom goes around searching for those who deserve her>

Introducing the Gospel
Say: Today’s Gospel reading comes from the book of Matthew, Jesus tells us a parable about the kingdom of heaven. The Parable of the Ten Young Women
25 “At that time the Kingdom of heaven will be like this. Once there were ten young women who took their oil lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2 Five of them were foolish, and the other five were wise. 3 The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any extra oil with them, 4 while the wise ones took containers full of oil for their lamps. 5 The bridegroom was late in coming, so they began to nod and fall asleep.
6 “It was already midnight when the cry rang out, ‘Here is the bridegroom! Come and meet him!’ 7 The ten young women woke up and trimmed their lamps. 8 Then the foolish ones said to the wise ones, ‘Let us have some of your oil, because our lamps are going out.’ 9 ‘No, indeed,’ the wise ones answered, ‘there is not enough for you and for us. Go to the store and buy some for yourselves.’ 10 So the foolish ones went off to buy some oil; and while they were gone, the bridegroom arrived. The five who were ready went in with him to the wedding feast, and the door was closed.
11 “Later the others arrived. ‘Sir, sir! Let us in!’ they cried out. 12 ‘Certainly not! I don't know you,’ the bridegroom answered.”
13 And Jesus concluded, “Watch out, then, because you do not know the day or the hour.

We believe that God is generous and fair and so we pray together:

We pray for civil leader especially is our country that are going through electro process. May all this process go well without any blood shad and may we prepare for the best. We pray to the Lord....
Prayer 3. We pray for ourselves, parish, family and friends: that we may do all that we can to prepare for the coming of God’s kingdom, by following Jesus’ teaching and treating others as we would wish to be treated. We pray to the Lord...
Prayer 4. God of all, help us to know how to treat others as we would wish to be treated, so that we may be found ready when your kingdom comes... We pray to the Lord...
